3.1 Classification Scope

Classification in Veriket is a two-step process: first select a Scope, then determine the Classification Level that applies within that scope.

  • Customization: Different departments (for example, R&D) can define specialized levels (such as “R&D Special”) in addition to corporate-wide levels like “Confidential” or “General.”

  • Visibility Filters: Scope visibility is controlled via “Scope Menu Visibility Filters.” Rules can be configured by Username, Group, or Department. If no filter is defined, the scope remains public.

3.2 Classifications

This section defines the classification levels available within the selected scope.

  • Level Settings: Each level supports a Description, Color code, Watermark options, and whether it is assigned by default.

  • Locking: Levels can be marked as “Locked,” preventing documents assigned to that level from being moved to a different level.

  • Default Categories: Defaults can be set for three document categories: Normal Documents, Internal Correspondence, and External Correspondence (Email).
