Account Management

2.1 Companies

Veriket allows the management of multiple different companies from a single panel.

  • Management: Registered companies are listed with their Guid, name, sector, country, and creation date.
  • Customization: Users can use the "Column View" button to determine which features are displayed in the list.
  • Actions: The "Update" button allows for modifying company information, while "Export to Excel" allows for downloading the company list as a spreadsheet.

2.2 Users

Accessed via Account Management > Users, this screen is used to add users, group them by column, filter, search, and perform general management tasks.

  • User Creation: Users can be assigned to existing User Groups during creation. If a group is linked to an Authorization Role, assigned users automatically inherit those permissions.

  • Definition Methods:
  • Manual: Users are added via a form in the panel (Name, Surname, Username, Email, Company, Password).
  • Active Directory (AD) Integration: Users are automatically imported based on defined rules.
  • Status: Users can be tracked as "AD" or "Form" based on their record type. Deleted, locked, or unauthorized users cannot log into the system.

2.3 User Groups

User Groups are the primary tool for managing permissions, forming the basis of role-based access control.

  • Group Creation: Found under Account Management > User Groups, new groups are named and users are assigned by selecting them from a list.
  • Relationship to Permissions: Groups are mapped to one or more Authorization Roles (Roles). Permissions are granted only through groups, not directly to individual users.
  • Multiple Assignments: A user can belong to multiple groups; in such cases, their permissions are merged, and the most comprehensive (broadest) permission level applies.

2.4 Authorization Roles

This module manages all access control within the Veriket Management Panel based on user groups.

  • Role Creation: New roles are created by selecting access permissions (Read/Write) for specific modules. The role is then mapped to user groups.

  • Hierarchy: Access follows a page hierarchy; a user cannot see a sub-page if the parent module's access is not defined, though direct URL access might still be possible.
