What is the process for procuring additional CALs when the licensed quantity is exhausted?

When the initially purchased CAL quantity is fully consumed — due to organizational growth, headcount expansion, or the extension of classification coverage to previously unlicensed user populations — additional CALs can be procured through a straightforward mid-cycle process:

  • Top-up procurement: Additional CALs can be purchased at any point during the active license term without requiring a full renewal or contract renegotiation. New CALs are added to the existing entitlement and take effect upon commercial confirmation.
  • Co-termination: Supplementary CALs purchased mid-cycle are co-terminated with the existing license period, maintaining a single unified renewal date. Pro-rated pricing applies for the remaining term.
  • Proactive capacity monitoring: License utilization is visible through the Siberson Veriket management console. Organizations are advised to monitor consumption proactively and engage Siberson or their channel partner before exhaustion to avoid any gap in classification coverage.
  • Volume tier reassessment: A top-up purchase is an appropriate moment to reassess whether the organization's growth trajectory warrants moving to a higher volume tier — which may unlock improved per-unit pricing.
